In de master Literature Today vinden binnenkort een aantal spannende lecture seminars plaats waarin professionals uit het literaire veld komen spreken. Hoewel gelinkt aan de master, zijn deze bijeenkomsten voor iedereen vrij toegankelijk. De aankondiging van de eerstvolgende seminars staat hier:

Lecture Seminar 2: Contemporary Cultural Perspectives for Europe

Maandag 24 October, 17.30 – 19.30, at Drift 25, room 002

Speaker: Yoeri Albrecht, artistic director De Balie. Moderator: Micha Hamel

Yoeri Albrecht studied history and international law at Leiden, and European studies at Oxford.

He will speak about:

  1. what it means to hold a profession in the cultural sector in contemporary society
  2. present issues, agendas and futures for Europe and its cultures, in comparative perspective
  3. his festival “Forum on European Culture”

The following guest lecture takes place on 28 November, our guest speaker will be Annet Dekker. She will discuss transmedial storytelling, and such issues as the possibilities for e-publishing, contemporary developments in writing as coding and new modes of storytelling.
