Vanaf 1 september 2019 komt Willem Bongers-Dek aan het roer te staan van het Vlaams-Nederlands Huis deBuren in Brussel. Hij volgt Wim Vanseveren op die deBuren leidt sinds 2015 en na de zomer met pensioen gaat. Willem studeerde Nederlandse taal en cultuur in Utrecht, Antwerpen en Sheffield en won met zijn masterscriptie over migratieliteratuur de Taalunie Scriptieprijs.
